1st Pink Floyd Album in 20 years

Unapologetically, this is for the generation that wants to put its headphones on, lie in a beanbag, or whatever, and get off on a piece of music for an extended period of time. You could say it’s not for the iTunes, downloading-individual-tracks generation. But there are a lot of people who’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of this.David Gilmour

Now that’s my kind of album! And that’s exactly what I loved about other Pink Floyd albums. You have to listen to them from start to finish, the way they were intended to be listened. This album seems pretty solid on first listen, the whole album is instrumental apart from the last track.

The songs are based on material recorded from 1993 and 1994 during the Division Bell recording with new parts added and other parts re-recorded. For an album that is a tribute to their late Keyboardist Richard Wright, they have done a pretty good job.

If you use Spotify, you can listen to the album now.
